ORDER DELIVERY - DETAILS.

The methods of delivery of the ordered product to the Customer and the more specific terms applicable to each of them are as follows:

If our Customer chooses the delivery of the ordered product to our physical store at Anikula Bookstore, Egnatia 148, 54621 Thessaloniki, then he is notified via the corresponding method of communication that he has indicated when submitting the order, for pick it up from our store. In this case, the Customer is obliged to receive the product within 5 working days at the latest from his notification, at which time the product will be available for him in our Store. If, however, the 5 working days have passed, then our Company reserves the right to withdraw from the contract as well as all its related, legal claims due to the withdrawal.

If the Customer is unable to visit the store to pick up his order within the aforementioned time, he may request, in time and within 5 days of his notification, the extension of the reservation of his order at the store by 5 additional working days by contacting the store by phone at 2310 235 297 or e-mail at e-shop@anikoula.gr

If the Customer is unable to come to pick up the product himself, then the third party who is not the buyer is required to bring with him to pick up the product a relevant authorization from the buyer as well as a public document (identity card, passport, etc.) proving the identity of the third party recipient. Because according to the Law, after receiving the product, the risk passes to the Buyer, the Buyer (or the Third Party, who according to the above acts in the name and on behalf of the Buyer) must carefully check the product delivered to him and certify , by signing the relevant form, that he received the ordered product and that the product delivered to him is the one he ordered and is in excellent condition.

b. DELIVERY TO AN ADDRESS CHOSEN BY THE CUSTOMER:

In the event that the Customer chooses as the place of delivery of the product, a place that he wishes, then the product is delivered by our Company, to a Courier Company, which undertakes the delivery of the product to the Customer. The Customer is solely responsible for the correctness, truth and completeness of the information he entered when determining the place of delivery. In case this place is false or does not belong to the Customer, then our Company reserves all its legal rights.

In the event that the delivery address does not belong to the Customer but to a Third Party, to whom the item will be delivered as a "gift", then the Buyer must enter all the necessary requested information in the relevant form, so that our Company knows that the "Gift" procedure is to be followed. In any case of delivery of the product through a courier company, both the Buyer and the Third Party - Donor (in the case of the Gift as mentioned above) must show a relevant document from a public Authority for the identification of the person, while especially for the case where the product is delivered to a Third Party, who acts in the name and on behalf of the Buyer (not in the case of the Gift), then the third party must have a relevant authorization to receive the product as well as a relevant document from a public authority to establish identity. Because according to the Law, after receiving the product, the risk passes to the Buyer, the Buyer (or the Third Party, who according to the above acts in the name and on behalf of the Buyer) must carefully check the product delivered to him and certify , by signing the relevant form, that he received the ordered product and that the product delivered to him is the one he ordered and is in excellent condition.

DELIVERY TIME. 

In the event that the delivery of the ordered product must be carried out pursuant to the relevant contractual agreement between our Company and our Customer in the Greek Territory, then our Company undertakes to deliver it within a period of 3 to 10 days, while in the event that the delivery of product must be carried out as above abroad, then our Company undertakes to deliver it within a period of 15 days. If, for any reason, it is reasonably foreseeable that the delivery of the order will be delayed, then our Company will immediately inform the Customer of this and will make every effort to deliver the order within a short and reasonable time to the Customer.

Special reasons (e.g. ordering an out-of-stock book from the publisher, delay in delivery of an out-of-stock book at the publisher's responsibility, holiday periods when some publishers close, excessive workload at the start of the school term or during holiday periods , strikes, etc.) can extend shipping times. Force majeure (eg extreme weather conditions or other factors affecting shipment) may extend delivery times.

In any case, our Company must deliver the product no later than twenty days from the confirmation of the order unless force majeure occurs. In the event that these events last more than 30 days, each of the contracting parties has the right to terminate the contract without the right to compensation, while the Company is obliged, upon notification of the termination of the contract, to immediately return the amount of the price to the Customer, depending on the method payment thereof.

COURIER COSTS.

For shipments of orders within Greece, with a total purchase value of 50 euros and above, no shipping charges are made.

The cost to courier the ordered product to our Customer is €3 (ie three euros) for every order within the Greek Territory.

Shipping and packing costs are calculated per shipment and are based on the final purchase value of each shipment.

In the event that the customer wishes to send his order in two installments (e.g. to send the immediately available books and to send separately the books that are not immediately available and are expected by the publishing houses), the calculation for the costs shipping is done for each shipment separately, regardless of the single calculation made on the website.

In the event that the final value of the purchase differs from the value of the order (e.g. due to lack of stock of certain books at the publisher) and after being informed the customer has chosen to have the available books sent to him, the calculation of the shipping costs is determined by the final market value, regardless of the single calculation made on the website.

In case of change (return and new shipment), the difference between the new shipment and the return is calculated as the purchase value for the new shipment. In the event of non-receipt due to the customer's negligence, the customer's account is charged with shipping costs, regardless of whether the original shipment was not charged. Changes, replacements or refunds are made only after communication, consultation and instructions received by the customer.

For shipments abroad, the same prices as the books listed on the website apply, but free shipping does not apply.

Shipments abroad are subject to shipping costs, calculated - depending on the purchase value - in accordance with the price list as indicated in the table below.

Shipping costs include packaging costs (packaging materials and process) and other administrative costs that are added to the cost of overseas shipments.

In case the weight of the order is significantly greater than the calculated average weight corresponding to the value of the products, or in the event that the shipping destination is characterized as remote by the courier companies, there may be a recalculation of the shipping costs. In this case we will contact you to accept the additional charges or cancel the order.

For orders over €300, there will be a minimum charge of the highest price in the table above.

After being informed about the shipping costs abroad, the Customer will state whether or not he agrees with the specific amount. In case of agreement, the Customer must prepay the amount of the shipment so that his order can proceed and be completed. In the event that he does not agree with the shipping costs and wishes to cancel the order, then our Company undertakes to accept the cancellation request and return the amount paid for the books that the Customer has already paid in advance when completing the order in the online store .

Purchases from abroad are only paid for with a credit or debit card that supports online transactions or upon contact with a deposit to a bank account.

Expenses and taxes that may arise in each country of destination are borne by the buyer.
